NSW Dingo Rescue
Sydney Dingo Rescue are a New South Wales based charity and foster care network. As well as working to assist captive born dingoes (ex-pets) to find new homes, Sydney Dingo Rescue also exists to advocate for, and assist wild-born dingoes who are unfairly targeted, and killed in their thousands by the Australian Government.
Sydney Dingo Rescue exists to assist both wild-born dingoes and captive/pet dingoes who have found themselves homeless and in need of help. We work not only in New South Wales but across Australia working in conjunction with councils and shelters interstate in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory to help dingoes in need.
Fly by night bat rescue
Fly By Night is a licenced DELWP Wildlife Shelter in Melbourne ( Victoria ) and is run by volunteers dedicated to the rescue & rehabilitation and release of the threatened species, Grey Headed Flying Fox, as well as other native bats & wildlife.
Bats are majestically mysterious and fiercely intelligent. Most people will only see their silent silhouettes in the evening sky, and won’t know that they are as intelligent as dogs, and just as inquisitive too. They form close family bonds, regenerate our forests and perhaps most importantly, are classified as a threatened species here in Melbourne- at risk of extinction.
We are deeply committed to helping these native animals and will provide them dedicated rescue, care and rehabilitation to get them back to the wild, where they belong.
Tolga Bat Hospital and Education Centre
Tolga Bat Rescue and Research, aka Tolga Bat Hospital, is the largest bat rehabilitation centre in Australia, and its multi-award-winning visitor centre the largest bat ecotourism facility in Australia. It was founded in 2002 and began the Wildlife Friendly Fencing project in 2006. It seemed the only answer after untangling thousands of flying foxes, owls and gliders from agricultural fencing. The project provides resources to all relevant stakeholders in the form of an information-rich website. The Bat Hospital rescues, rehabilitates and releases hundreds of bats each year who have been sick, injured or orphaned.
